Baijiu, a cultural product of Chinese civilization, is in the blood of the Chinese. However, for many overseas markets, the market share of baijiu is still very small. Over time, liquor has developed and changed. From September 4th and 7th, 2018, the Jiangxiaobai tasting event “The Renaissance of the Old Flavor” was held in London and Birmingham, England.
The event invited professionals from the local liquor industry and well-known local media to participate. The two main attractions were the tasting of Jiangxiaobai’s sorghum liquors (e.g. S100, Joyouth, Intimate Friend, Banjinbaliang+Dream) and the tasting of drinks from their mixed drink project JIANG MIX. Guests could try cocktail classics with a baijiu twist like the “Jiangxiaobai Mojito” and “Chongqing Mule”, and to mix it up (no pun intended) Jiangxiaobai also introduced mixed drinks specifically designed for baijiu, like the “Ice Breaker”.
During the tasting, the guests could get a better understanding of the story of Jiangxiaobai's products and the creation of JIANG MIX. The combination of haptic experience and story telling made visitors feel the charm of Jiangxiaobai baijiu. Hopefully, the Jiangxiaobai’s products and JIANG MIX drinks could share an impression of the inheritance and innovation of Chinese baijiu, and initiate a new era for baijiu.
As a young brand in the baijiu industry, Jiangxiaobai entered the UK market not long ago, and by hosting this event, hopes not only to leverage the market awareness of the brand, but to leverage the market awareness of Chinese liquor and Chinese culture.
